The trailer showcases the infestation of Mt. Kafuku by the Seethe as Soh and the Maiden Yoshiro fight against all odds to stop it.
A new trailer is live for Capcom’s Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, launching next week. It features the theme song, “Kunitsu-Gami”, by ermhoi, lyricist and vocalist for the Japanese indie group Millennium Parade. Check it out below.
The lullaby-esque theme is set against footage of the monstrous Seethe gathering on Mt. Kafuku and attacking its neighboring village. Protagonist Soh and the Maiden Yoshiro set out to cleanse the mountain of the Seethe, the former saving and recruiting villagers to fight alongside him during the day. During the night, they must protect Yoshiro during her rituals, especially when the larger Festering Seethe emerges.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess launches on July 19th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC (alongside Game Pass). A demo is currently available on all platforms. All players will receive free items based on Clover Studio’s Okami if the community gathers one billion crystals and locates 15 Lucky Mallets.
