Forza Horizon 4 Hits New All-Time Peak for Concurrent Players on Steam

Following the announcement that it will be delisted in December, the open world racer has nearly doubled its all-time concurrent users peak on Steam.

Microsoft and Playground Games recently announced that Forza Horizon 4 would be following in the footsteps of past Forza titles and be digitally delisted in December due to expiring licenses. That announcement, however, has been met with a resurgence in its player count, with the open world racer nearly doubling its peak concurrent user count on Steam.

At the time of writing, as per SteamDB, Forza Horizon 4’s peak concurrent user count is 71,598, which it hit roughly half an hour ago. That’s significantly higher than its previous peak of over 40,000 concurrent players, which it hit a little over two years ago upon its belated Steam launch.

Forza Horizon 4 will see the launch of Series 77, which will also be its last Series, on July 25, which will also bring a new Festival Playlist that will last until August 22. Once the game is delisted from all digital stores on December 15, it will still remain playable offline and online, while physical copies purchased from that point forward will also continue to work.

Forza Horizon 4 is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
