Remedy has also toned down the amount of resource drops doled out in Night Springs Episodes 2 and 3 to “more reasonable levels.”
Following the release of Night Springs several weeks ago, Remedy’s Alan Wake 2 has a new update. Available for all platforms, it offers a “cooler” splash screen for the game. More importantly, those who felt the resource drops in Night Springs Episodes 2 and 3 were too generous can take solace in its tuning to “more reasonable levels.”
The patch also addresses a warning about corrupted saves when loading or traveling through areas. As it turns out, your saves are intact – the warning is “misleading”, originating from a different bug. Episode 1: Number One Fan has also received some fixes for rare progression blockers and an enemy that could send the player out of bounds.
Check out the full patch notes below for more details. Alan Wake 2 is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Night Springs is its first paid expansion, with a second, Lake House, coming later this year.
