Premium currency allegedly includes Helix, also reportedly used to purchase cosmetics in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Infinity.
Ubisoft will reveal a new cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Shadows (formerly Assassin’s Creed Codename Red) on May 15th, 9 AM PST. However, details have already begun leaking, including its supposed release date. Now Ubisoft_Frax on Twitter, known for leaking details on Rainbow Six Siege, has reported it will have a Season Pass.
Retailing for $40, this will provide access to two expansions launching after the base game. The expansions will cost $25 separately while the base game allegedly retails for £59.99 (which could be $69.99 in the US). Of course, there are also microtransactions via Helix currency purchased with real money, from 500 Helix ($5) to 6600 Helix ($50). There’s also a Welcome Pack for 4200 Helix or $35.
Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson also reports Helix’s use in Assassin’s Creed Infinity, Ubisoft’s planned “hub” for the series. Players can purchase cosmetics with in-game and premium currency, from clothes to weapon skins. How much these will cost in Shadows is unknown, so stay tuned for further details.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is allegedly out on November 15th for Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5.
