Husks are melee fights that will get in and attack up close. While easily disposed of, they release Geists, which seek out players.
After showcasing what the Harbinger and Weaver are capable of in Destiny 2’s The Final Shape, Bungie has a new teaser dedicated to the Husk. As a melee combatant of The Witness’s Dread faction, it rushes players with bladed tonfa. Check it out below.
Unlike the Hive Thralls or the Cabal Gladiators, the Husks release Geists upon defeat. The latter will then home in on players, dealing damage. It may not seem all that serious when it’s one Husk and Geist, but things can get rough with multiple attacking at once. That’s not even factoring in the Strand-focused Dread suspending and pulling you off balance.
Launching on June 4th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC, Destiny 2: The Final Shape marks the end of a near-ten-year-long saga. Guardians venture into the Pale Heart of the Traveler to fight The Witness with the help of various allies (including Cayde-6) and then enter the raid on June 7th to finish the job.
