Silent Hill 2 Remake and Astro Bot Will be Showcased in May, Another Leaker is Seemingly Suggesting

A recent leak claimed that the Silent Hill 2 remake would be showcased at a PlayStation-focused event in May.

Journalist Jeff Grubb recently claimed that Konami and Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake is going to be showcased at an as-yet-unannounced PlayStation event in May, and another leaker is now corroborating that.

Known leaker The Snitch recently published a tweet that doesn’t say much of anything (or anything precise) at first glance, reading, “May a bot see through the fog of love?” In the tweet, however, the leaker has italicized the words “May”, “bot”, and “fog”, likely teasing a May showing for Silent Hill 2 (fog being an iconic visual marker strongly associated with the Silent Hill franchise).

And what does the “bot” refer to? It’s likely that that’s hinting at an announcement of a new Astro Bot game. The aforementioned Jeff Grubb has claimed a couple of times in recent weeks that Sony intends to release a new instalment in the platforming franchise later this year.

Of course, whether this rumoured May event is going to be another State of Play presentation or a full-fledged PlayStation Showcase remains to be seen.
