Skull and Bones Out Now on PC and Consoles, Free Trial Goes Live

The Skull and Bones free trial allows players to try out as much of the game as they possibly can for 8 hours.

After seeing numerous delays, Ubisoft’s latest multiplayer pirate-themed game, Skull and Bones, is finally out on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Alongside its release, Skull and Bones also has a free trial available. Check out the trailer showcasing the free trial below.

The free trial allows players 8 hours of access to what is essentially the entirety of Skull and Bones, with no restrictions placed on players whatsoever aside from the time limit.

Skull and Bones puts players in the shoes of budding pirates that set out on explored waters in the search of challenges and competition. Starting with nothing, players will have to complete activities to raise their infamy, taking on contracts and going on treasure hunts.

The game is inspired by the Indian Ocean during the second Golden Age of Piracy. Players are also able to take on challenges in multiplayer, teaming up with three other players in the open seas. The game is also set to get quite a bit of post-launch support with new content and free updates.

Along with being available on all modern platforms, Skull and Bones is also available through Ubisoft+, as well as cloud gaming services like Amazon Luna and GeForce Now. The PC release of the game is currently not available on Steam, and players can pick it up on the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store.
