The development team will be “discussing feedback internally” and have “updates later on this once we go through them some more.”
Season of the Construct is now live in Diablo 4, along with its first hotfix addressing a particularly annoying progression blocker. However, several players arenât happy with the season in general, whether itâs the lack of much new content, the Vaults and their traps, the underwhelming Seneschal Construct, etc.
Adam Fletcher, global community development director for Diablo, said the team is âtracking the feedback from players since the start of S3.â It will be âdiscussing feedback internallyâ and âwill have updates later on this once we go through them some more. Appreciate everyone providing their notes and thoughts with us.â
He also acknowledged some complaints, like Vaults not being rewarding, Arcane Tremors feeling underwhelming, and how Season 3 is a step back from its predecessor. âWe are noting a lot of this and bringing this to the team today.â When one user said they donât want puzzles or traps but good combat, Skills and boss fights, Fletcher replied, âWe are compiling everyoneâs thoughts, and I know this resonates with a lot weâve been seeing. Will make sure the team is aware.â
Weâll need to wait for further updates from the developer. In the meantime, Season of the Construct will also see the addition of The Gauntlet, a weekly challenge dungeon with leaderboards. It doesnât have a release date yet, so stay tuned when it goes live.
