The open world looter shooter will arrive on Epic Games’ platform a little over a month after its Steam and console launch.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is under a couple months away from launch, but in recent years, it’s been no stranger to delays. And in the final stretch leading up to its release, it’s been hit with another partial delay.
Those who were intending to purchase the game on PC through the Epic Games Store will have to wait a little longer to do so. As announced by developer Rocksteady on the game’s official Discord server, though the open world looter shooter will launch on Steam and consoles in February as planned, on Epic Games Store, it will now release on March 5. No reason was provided for the delay.
“The release for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on the Epic Games Store is now March 5, 2024,” the developer wrote. “If you pre-ordered the game on this storefront, Epic will be cancelling your pre-order and refunding customers directly. A confirmation email of this cancellation will be sent directly from the Epic Games Store Support Team.”
Rocksteady has recently been dealing with a major leak that ousted significant plot details on its Suicide Squad game. The studio recently urged fans to stay away from leaked spoilers.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to launch on February 2 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam.
