The GTA 6 reveal trailer has surpassed 103 million views on YouTube, overtaking GTA 5’s 100 million lifetime views.
Here’s a bit of an understatement- there’s a fair bit of excitement surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6. The long-awaited open world behemoth was officially unveiled by Rockstar earlier this week (a day ahead of time, owing to unfortunate leaks), and within the first day, the reveal trailer had surpassed 96 million views on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel. And, unsurprisingly, that momentum has continued.
In fact, at the time of writing, the Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal trailer has a whopping 103 million views (and steadily rising). That, for context, is more than the views the reveal trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5 has accumulated to date, in over 12 years’ time. The trailer, which debuted in November 2011, has a little under 101 million views to date.
Meanwhile, the Red Dead Redemption 2 reveal trailer from October 2016 sits at a little over 23 million views, while the Grand Theft Auto 4 trailer from March 2007 has 8.4 million views.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S (not on PC) in 2025.
