Blizzard Entertainment’s eighth season of Overwatch 2 arrives on December 5th and introduces a new Tank hero, Mauga. Before that, fans can look forward to the launch trailer on December 4th at 8 AM PST. It should outline all the new content and showcase new cosmetics to look forward to.
Thus far, we know that Season 8: Call of the Hunt will have a new Mythic skin for Orisa, complete with a unique Ultimate effect and sounds. However, recent teases have also indicated new skins for Widowmaker, Ana, Junker Queen and Mauga. Which of these are in the Premium Battle Pass remains to be seen, so stay tuned.
Overwatch 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Though features like Hero Mode have been cancelled, the hero shooter will receive two new characters next year. A new PvP mode called Clash is also due with a reworked version of Hanamura called Hanaoka.
