The long-awaited beta will be available publicly for those who own the game on Steam from November 30th to December 10th.
After some delays, the rollback netcode beta for Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball FighterZ is finally happening on November 30th. It will be available publically for PC owners of the game on Steam until December 10th. Check out the video announcement from Bandai Namco producer Tomoko Hiroki below.
Steam players must navigate to Properties, then Betas, select “public-beta-test-pbt” from the Beta Participation drop-down menu, and download it to access the same. Bandai Namco clarifies that the game may not run smoothly while the beta is going, but there won’t be any support for any issues faced.
There may also be emergency maintenance or to change specifications without any warning. As you’d expect, no player data will carry over to the game, and results may differ from the final product.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. It’s also coming to Xbox Series X/S and PS5 with rollback netcode implemented. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
