The map will be added for everyone as part of a free update, while the new characters – a Victim and Family member apiece – will be paid DLC.
Fans of asymmetrical multiplayer horror games were treated to the launch of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre earlier this year, and the players who’ve stuck around to keep dipping their toes in the game’s waters will soon be getting additional content to dive into.
Gun Interactive has revealed a new map and two new characters that will soon be added to the game with a new trailer (which you can view below). Players will get to one new Victim and Family member each, with Danny and Nancy respectively, while Nancy’s House will be added to the map rotation.
The map will arrive for free for all players as part of an update that will also bring over 250 fixes for the game, though both characters will be paid DLC, and will be purchasable for $9.99 each. The patch, the map, and the new characters will all arrive on November 28, a week from now.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In a little over a month after its launch, it had attracted over 4 million players.
