The Puerto Rican flag is now displayed in Miles Morales’ apartment, with Insomniac apologizing for the error and promising to do better.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a pretty good game, but it’s not without some errors. Miles Morales’ apartment displays the flag for Cuba, but the family is Puerto Rican. Fans quickly picked up on this, and Insomniac Games announced a patch to fix the issue. Said patch is now live and displays the Puerto Rican flag.
The developer also said, “We understand that accurate representation matters, and greatly regret this error. We sincerely apologize and will do better in the future.”
Other fixes in the patch include improved stability and an issue where long play sessions would cause character models to not load properly. Also, if you felt the Spider logo on The Amazing 2 Suit was too bright (which is very unlike the prospects of its movie inspiration), that’s been fixed.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is available for PS5. Check out our review here. It sold over 2.5 million copies in the first 24 hours of its release, making it the fastest-selling first-party PlayStation title in history, beating previous record-holder God of War Ragnarok.
