Maggie Robertson is joining Baldur’s Gate 3’s star-studded cast, which includes J.K. Simmons and Jason Isaacs, taking on the role of an antagonistic figure.
Actor Maggie Robertson has revealed that she will be playing the role of Orin the Red in Baldur’s Gate 3, according to Eurogamer. Robertson will be familiar to fans of video games as she previously played the role of Resident Evil Village antagonist Lady Dimitrescu.
Orin the Red will be a shape-shifting antagonistic figure in the game who will show up throughout a playthrough to test the players.
A host of new details about Baldur’s Gate 3 were revealed this week, including the fact that a standard playthrough of the upcoming RPG will need between 75 and 100 hours.
During a showcase this week, developer Larian released a new teaser trailer, while also talking about some of the game’s features. Among other things, players will have access to a maturity slider to adjust a character’s age, and Tiefling characters can customise their horns with different colours. The studio also talked about multi-classing, with some of the more powerful classes only becoming available later in the game.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is coming to PC on August 3, and PS5 on September 6. The game is currently available as an early access title on PC.
