Ahead of Rashid’s arrival, the Fighting Pass will add new stickers, music tracks, avatar gear, a new classic game to play in the Battle Hub, and more.
Before Street Fighter 6’s launch, Capcom confirmed that it would be adding four additional fighters to its roster as part of its Year 1 DLC plans. The first of these – Rashid, a.k.a. the Turbulent Wind – is set to arrive sometime this Summer (presumably before EVO in August), and while a specific release date for the DLC is yet to be confirmed, Capcom has started paving the way for his addition to the roster.
Street Fighter 6’s first battle pass – or Fighting Pass, as the game calls it – is going live today and will remain live until July 23, and will set the stage for Rashid’s arrival. Its paid premium tier will bring a number of new rewards for players to unlock. These will include five new pieces of avatar gear, a new classic game to enjoy in the Battle Hub in Hyper Dyne Side Arms, new stickers, and three new music tracks- Rashid’s theme, Laura’s theme, and Necalli’s theme.
Also included in the premium rewards are a new emote, photo border, device wallpaper, and titles. The Fighting Pass will, of course, also have free rewards to unlock for those who don’t purchase the premium tier. The premium Fighting Pass, meanwhile, will cost 250 Fighter Coins (which is roughly $5).
Street Fighter 6 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC.
