The Medic is better and more efficient at healing than any other class, and is also more resilient to interrupts during relic use.
When Remnant 2 launches next month, it will, like its predecessor, allow players to brave its apocalyptic dangers as one of several classes. In the lead-up to the game’s release, we’ve learnt plenty about a few of those Archetypes, from the tanky damage-dealing Challenger to jack-of-all-trades canine accompanies Handler to the quick firing ranged specialist Gunslinger.
Now, developer Gunfire Games has released a new trailer that sheds the light on a fourth Archetype- the Medic. As its name suggests, the Medic class is focused on healing and supporting your party with healing actions. In addition to being better and more efficient at healing, the Medic is also more resistant to interrupts while using relics.
Thanks to its Prime Perk, Regenerator, the Medic class can regain a relic charge upon restoring enough health, while the Wellspring skill can used to punch a whole in the ground and create a well of healing energy. Then there’s Healing Shield, which conjures a protective shields around all allies that constantly regenerates a small amount of health over time. Finally, there’s Redemption, described as the “ultimate healing ability”, which describes all downed allies and regenerates health significantly.
Meanwhile, the Medic’s Archetype Trait, Triage, increases the potency of your healing every time it levels up. Check out the trailer below for more details.
Remnant 2 is set to launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on July 25.
