GOG.com, the digital platform most famous for it’s staunchly anti-DRM approach to the games it sells on the platform has put a public call out to future Xbox gamers who might be considering building their own DRM-free library on the platform.
The team took to social media via Bluesky to share that Xbox gamers can now link their Xbox Live Account to GOG.
“Are you an Xbox user looking to start building your DRM-free library on GOG? We’ve got the perfect news for you! You can now log in to GOG with your Xbox account, putting you just one click away from buying games that will be yours to keep forever. We’re waiting for you!”
This is a pre-emptive move because you will be able to install gog games on the upcoming rog ally x which is a Xbox themed PC handheld, this does not mean you can install all gog games on a Xbox console.
