Lost Soul Aside Has Gone Gold

In development since 2014, Ultizero Games’ sleek action RPG is on track to launch on August 29th for PlayStation 5 and PC.

Celebrating a game’s gold status is common, but for Ultizero’s Lost Soul Aside, it’s a momentous occasion. After starting development in 2014 for PS4 and seeing multiple delays throughout the years, the action RPG has finally gone gold.

Spotted by Okami13_ on Twitter through WeChat, the developer reaffirmed the release date and confirmed that all content has completed development. Ultizero is currently working on “final optimizations” to provide the “most seamless gaming experience possible.”

Lost Soul Aside launches on August 29th for PS5 and PC. It follows Kazer, a member of the resistance group GLIMMER, and his plans to disrupt the Empire. However, plans abruptly change when the Voidrax invades, and Kazer’s sister, Louisa, is subsequently taken. Together with the mysterious Arena, he embarks on a journey to get her back.

Inspired by Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, and Ninja Gaiden (not to mention Final Fantasy 15 when it was still Final Fantasy Versus 13), Lost Soul Aside focuses on fast-paced hack-and-slash action. Kazer can use four different weapons, each with unique abilities, to overwhelm enemies.
