Larian Studios’ highly anticipated RPG launches for PlayStation 5 and PC less than two months from now, on August 31.
The upcoming Summer Game Fest, set for June 8, is looking like a packed show, with its two-hour runtime looking to be increasingly packed by announcements come from a wide variety of developers and publishers. Up until now, the likes of Mortal Kombat 1, Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and Lies of P have all been confirmed for the show, and now, another major upcoming game has thrown its hat into the ring.
Larian Studios has confirmed via an update on Twitter that it’ll be bringing Baldur’s Gate 3 to Summer Game Fest. The developer has offered a tease of the trailer that it will be showcasing, which will shine the spotlight on a new character, named Gortash. Check out the clip below for a sneak peak.
Summer Game Fest won’t be the only major showcase in the coming days where we’ll be getting another look at the highly anticipated RPG. It was recently also confirmed that Baldur’s Gate 3 will be one of 55 games that will be featured in the PC Gaming Show on June 11.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is set to launch on August 31 for PC and PS5. Xbox Series X/S versions are also planned, but won’t be releasing yet due to “technical difficulties”
