The Direct could take place during the final week of July ahead of Nintendo announcing its earnings for the latest fiscal quarter.
After hosting a dedicated Direct last month for Donkey Kong Bananza, Nintendo allegedly has another on the way. According to insider NateTheHate, it will go live after Bananza’s launch, potentially the last week of the month before Nintendo reveals its latest earnings reports.
While the contents of the Direct are unknown, it’s possible that we could see more from Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which is launching this year. Pokemon Legends: Z-A will doubtless receive more details at Pokemon Presents on July 22nd, but a new trailer isn’t out of the question. There may even be release dates for titles like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, Kirby Air Riders, and so on.
Of course, with Hollow Knight: Silksong arriving before the Xbox Ally’s launch and the latter rumored for launch in late October, a new trailer wouldn’t be too surprising. Then again, it could very well appear at Gamescom during Xbox’s shows. As always, stay tuned for more details.
Donkey Kong Bananza is out on July 17th for Nintendo Switch 2. It’s been in development since 2017, having started as a Switch title.
