While the upcoming addition of VR support is the headlining feature of Gran Turismo 7’s upcoming update, its roster of vehicles is also about to get a little bigger.
Gran Turismo 7 is getting a massive update in a couple of days, on February 21, which will see the racing sim become entirely playable in virtual reality courtesy of the PlayStation VR2 upon its launch. And while that is, of course, the biggest feature being added to the game with the update, it’s not the only one.
Polyphony Digital routinely expands the racing sim’s ever-growing roster with new cars, and that will be happening with the upcoming update as well. Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi recently took to Twitter and confirmed that the update will also add four new cars to Gran Turismo 7’s roster, with an accompanying image showing the silhouettes of the cars in question. Based on the silhouettes, speculation suggests the cars to be added in will be the Honda RA272, Citroen DS, the AAR Eagle, and a Porsche car.
Gran Turismo 7 is available on PS5 and PS4. Recently, it was suggested that the next game in the series may have entered development.
