Early access will also be available even if you buy the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition after June 2nd but before June 6th, per Rod Fergusson.
Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo 4 launches worldwide on June 6th, while early access begins on June 2nd for Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners. However, if you’ve seen the global release timings, you’ll know that some players can get in earlier.
Diablo franchise general manager Rod Fergusson re-affirmed on Twitter that early access actually begins on June 1st, 4 PM PT, while the main launch is on June 5th at the same time. “We use June 2 and June 6 for marketing because that’s when it’s available everywhere globally,” he clarified. Fergusson also confirmed that early access is available even if you buy the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition after June 2nd but before the worldwide launch.
Furthermore, if you buy the Ultimate Edition on PC and the Standard Edition on consoles, then all bonuses will carry over between the two. Fergusson also clarified details about Seasons (with the first starting mid to late July), the Battle Pass and how the Shop works in a recent livestream. Head here for more details.
Diablo 4 will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. A Server Slam is set for May 12th to 14th, free for all players.
