Rebellion’s newest WW2 tactical stealth shooter saw 80 percent of its physical launch sales in the region on PlayStation consoles.
Sniper Elite games might not be big, shiny AAA affairs, but Rebellion’s stealth shooter series never fails to attract a sizeable audience. It’s latest outing with recently released spinoff Sniper Elite: Resistance is similarly off to a solid start, as far as its physical sales in the UK are concerned.
That’s per the latest weekly charts for physical software sales in the UK. niper Elite: Resistance was the bestselling game in the UK last week, with about 80 percent of its sales coming on PlayStation consoles (as per Push Square).
Trailing behind Sniper Elite in the charts are regular heavyweights such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at No. 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at No. 3, Super Mario Party Jamboree at No. 4, and Grand Theft Auto 5 at No. 6. Meanwhile, the recently-released Donkey Kong Country Returns HD also still ranks, coming in at No. 7.
