The Titan 18 HX also has a special edition variant dubbed the Dragon Edition Norse Myth, which features a hand-painted chassis and extra goodies.
At CES 2025, MSI has unveiled the latest iteration of its top-of-the-line gaming laptop: the Titan 18 HX. The newest version of the laptop will follow in the footsteps of its predecessors by featuring the highest-end CPU and GPU possible.
The laptop, featuring an 18-inch display, will run off Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285HX CPU, while its graphics will be powered by the mobile version of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090. Other hardware features of the laptop include 96 GB of DDR5 RAM, 24 GB of GDDR7 VRAM, and a Gen5 NVMe M.2 slot for high-speed storage, along with three Gen4 slots for expansion.
The display of the MSI Titan 18 HX features a resolution of 3840×2400 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The laptop will also come equipped with a mechanical keyboard with switches from Cherry, and Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity. The audio on the Titan HX will be handled by four regular speakers and two woofers, totalling up to six.
The laptop will run on a 99.9 Wh battery that can be charged up with a 400 watt power adapter. On the I/O front, users will have access two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 5 capability, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an HDMI 2.1 port for external displays, an SD card slot, and 1 Gb ethernet.
Along with all of these features, MSI has also unveiled a Dragon Edition Norse Myth variant of the Titan 18 HX, which features a hand-drawn dragon across its chassis, and a dragon coin kept under a glass enclosure on the laptop’s palm rest. The variant will also come with a host of extra goodies, including a massive mouse pad, a mouse, a 3D dragon keychain, and a unique Norse myth-inspired unboxing experience.
