\While NetEase has already revealed that The Fantastic 4 will be the heroes showcased in Season 1 of Marvel Rivals, we now know so much more about it before the trailer featuring the new characters are revealed tomorrow, January 6.
First off, it’s been reported Marvel Rivals Season 1 will kick off on January 10 (January 11 for non-US players). It will have the title of “Eternal Night” and feature Dracula as part of the story (thus the title).
While we know that The Fantastic 4 will make their way into the game, as expected, all four characters won’t be released simultaneously. Per our sources, it’s been mentioned that the first two heroes which will be available when the season starts will be Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Leak Confirms Balance Changes to Meta Heroes
According to reliable leaker X0X, two heroes will be available when the season starts (Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm), and then two more mid-season (The Thing, The Human Torch).
There will also be a new map, which we presume to be New York.
While there are no patch notes available yet, balance changes on the way include:
- Hela & Hawkeye adjustments
- Storm, Wolverine & C/D adjustments
- Captain America & Venom movement improvement
Given how Hawkeye and Hela have been dominating Ranked and even Quick Match games, I’d say the incoming adjustments should be something the community will be happy about.
