Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores Patch Includes Fixes for Crashes, Dino Digits Quiz

Guerrilla is aware of progression issues with Aerial Captures and other quests and is working to address them for the next patch.

Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores expansion has received a new patch. It’s directed at fixing crashes but also contains bug fixes, like certain conditions causing the Dino Digits Quiz rewards to remain locked. The time of day should also no longer be permanently stuck.

As for ongoing issues, the team is aware of progression issues with Aerial Captures and quests. It’s working hard to address these in the next patch, though there’s no ETA. Stay tuned for more details, as always.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is available exclusively for PS5. Check out our official review for more details. Following the expansion’s release, co-studio head Angie Smets was promoted to Head of Development Strategy at PlayStation Studios.

While Guerrilla Games is working on an online title set in the Horizon universe, it’s also prepping Aloy’s “next adventure.” It’s likely the next mainline game, but a second expansion for Forbidden West wouldn’t be so bad.
