Alongside infiltrating enemy camps with multiple approaches, there are all kinds of other activities and secrets to discover.
There’s a lot to discover in MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, whether it’s new skills to hone the protagonist’s fighting style or clues for solving puzzles. However, things begin to scale up in the open areas – levels where players are given free rein to explore, like Gizeh in Egypt and Sukhothai in Siam, as revealed in a new deep dive.
Some of the more intriguing things lurking about include an underground fight club, which Indy can enter to take down some Nazi troops. There are puzzles like trap rooms where you must find a way to escape before time runs out and vendors selling wares (though the latter’s nature is unknown). You may even stumble upon a map and key leading to a palace with spooky secrets.
These open areas also allow for more immersive sim-like gameplay, as players must figure out how to infiltrate locations. Disguises come in handy, but there are also different paths to take. Head here for more details.
Launching on December 9th for Xbox Series X/S and PC (Spring 2025 for PS5), Indiana Jones and the Great Circle offers extensive optional content, and players are free to revisit areas.
