Hello Games’ Martin Griffiths shares his thoughts on Sony’s mid-generation hardware refresh, and he only has positive things to say.
Since the PS5 Pro was unveiled earlier this month, it has drawn a great deal of backlash, with many criticizing its exorbitant pricing and questioning whether the upgrade that it’s providing over the base PS5 warrants that price. But though the console has its critics, there are also those who are much more excited about what it’ll bring to the table.
One among them is Martin Griffiths of Hello Games, who is the studio’s Engine Programmer on No Man’s Sky, one of several titles confirmed to be PS5 Pro Enhanced upon the console’s launch in November. Taking to Twitter, Griffiths briefly shared his thoughts on the console, with his verdict being that it “absolutely rocks”.
“Many of you have noticed that No Man’s Sky is now marked as a PS5 Pro Enhanced title on the PlayStation Store – the only thing I’d like to say as an engine programmer who has been through all the PlayStation iterations since PS1, is that this console absolutely rocks,” he wrote.
The PS5 Pro is set to launch on November 7. Upon its release, players can expect about 40-50 PS5 Pro Enhanced titles.
