Districts range from Wan Chai to Repulse Bay, and each is “full of activities, events, and objects to find and collect.”
In addition to new screenshots for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, KT Racing also spoke about its rendition of Hong Kong Island. With over 600 kilometers of road to traverse, from small towns to cityscapes and mountain trails, there’s a lot to see. The developer confirmed 14 districts to explore, each “full of activities, events, and objects to find and collect.”
Some districts include the financial district Wan Chai, and you’ll see landmarks like the Monster Building, Lippo Centre and more. While the Streets faction prefers the East Docks, Repulse Bay to the south is the place for luxury cars. You can also visit fishing villages in Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir or go off-road to reach The Peak, the highest point of Hong Kong Island.
You’ll also come across Wrecks with car parts – collect them all, and you can acquire some “iconic cars.” Challenges aplenty also await, from speed traps to Instant Challenges where you face other players or friends. Cars can take damage while driving around, but a quick trip to the gas station restores their sheen.
Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is out later this year for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.
