The follow-up to Spiders’ successful 2019 RPG offers three regions to explore, six companions to recruit, and much more in early access.
Spiders’ GreedFall 2: The Dying World, a sequel to their surprise hit RPG from 2019, is now available on PC, albeit in early access. It offers multiple classes with six skill trees, six companions, three regions to explore, and about 30 percent of the game to experience. Check out the cinematic launch trailer below.
Unlike the first game, players control a Teer Fradee native, who is forcibly parted from their homeland and taken to Gacane. The mysterious Malichor runs rampant, and they must also deal with rival factions in conflict. Like the previous game, your decisions have consequences, including whether companions remain friendly.
The combat has also seen some changes, with auto-attacking and a Tactical Pause for issuing commands to party members. It’s a pretty big departure from the original’s action RPG approach.
