The expansion launches on October 8th for consoles and PC and has the player venturing to Nahantu to search for Neyrelle
Marketing for Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, Blizzard Entertainment’s first expansion for the action RPG, has ramped up lately. Last week, we learned more about the story, including its themes and the Vault of Light, in which Neyrelle seeks to cleanse Mephisto’s soulstone.
However, a new gameplay trailer outlines the new Spiritborn class, recruitable Mercenaries, Nahantu, and The Dark Citadel end-game activity. It also seemingly spoils a major boss fight that occurs in the story. Whether this is the final boss or not, it’s surprising to see and could indicate where the plot goes. We’ll avoid pointing it out – just beware if the story experience is important.
Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred launches on October 8th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC, so we’ll find out what’s going on soon enough.
