The +30-minute show will feature updates and news for over 20 upcoming PS5 and PlayStation VR2 titles from “studios around the world.”
Sony has announced the return of State of Play tomorrow, September 24th, at 3 PM PT. The over 30-minute show will provide announcements and updates on +20 PS5 and PlayStation VR 2 titles from “studios around the world.” It will be available in both English and Japanese via YouTube and Twitch.
As for titles that could appear, it’s almost a given that we’ll see more of Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake. Konami could finally announce the release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater ahead of its live Hotline show at Tokyo Game Show 2024. It wouldn’t be too surprising to see Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which will also have a stage event this week.
Beyond those titles, we may see some remasters, specifically for Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, announced. Bend Studio may finally reveal the new IP it’s been working on for years. For PSVR2 releases, 4A Games’ Metro Awakening looks likely.
