Treyarch’s recent beta topped previous titles in total hours and players, matches played, and playtime for each player.
The multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 wrapped earlier this week, and it’s been a huge success for the development team. Treyarch revealed on Twitter that it was the biggest-ever beta for the series.
Based on data from the early access and open betas, it saw the most players and playtime for each player. It even surpassed previous titles in the number of hours and matches played. While it’s not new for Call of Duty multiplayer betas to do big numbers, this showcases the immense hype for the next Black Ops.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches on October 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Game Pass subscribers can also play it on day one. Unlike previous entries, pre-orders won’t receive early access to the single-player campaign.
You can check out some extensive gameplay from “Most Wanted,” a campaign mission, and the Liberty Falls map from Zombies, highlighting new threats and areas in the round-based map.
