Guilty Gear Strive Announced for Switch, Launches January 23

Arc System Works’ acclaimed cel-shaded fighter is finally coming to Nintendo’s hybrid system, the developer has announced.

One of the best fighting games in recent memory is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch. Arc System Works has announced that its acclaimed 2021 fighting game Guilty Gear Strive is coming to Nintendo’s platform in January next year. Check out its announcement trailer below for glimpses of what it will look like running on the system.

Guilty Gear Strive’s Switch version will launch with all 28 playable characters that are currently included in the game’s roster, while rollback network is also confirmed, which fans should be particularly happy about. It will be priced at $59.99, same as on all the other platforms.

Guilty Gear Strive’s Season Pass 4 is set to kick off later this year, with Queen Dizzy returning to the roster. Other characters set to be added to the game across the course of the season are Venom, Unika, and a guest character in the form of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’ Lucy.

Guilty Gear Strive is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
