WB Games’ multiplayer title debuts on day one for the subscription service, with all three titles going live on September 3rd.
Sony has announced the free games for PlayStation Plus Essential (and higher) subscribers in September, and there are some heavy hitters. Starting September 3rd, you can play Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, and Little Nightmares 2 on PS4 and PS5.
Quidditch Champions is especially noteworthy since it’s a day-one release. The multiplayer title sees players participating in Quidditch matches across various arenas and maps while taking up one of four roles. There’s a Career Mode, which goes from amateur backyard matches to the Quidditch World Cup, with support for up to three players in co-op.
MLB The Show 24 is the latest iteration in San Diego Studio’s illustrious baseball franchise, featuring a new Road to the Show focused on female players. Little Nightmares 2 is the last game in the series that Tarsier Studios worked on and offers even creepier environments and challenges to navigate. As for August’s PS Plus Essential titles, subscribers have until September 2nd to claim the same.
