A new gameplay trailer for the upcoming HD-2D remake also showcases the ways players will be able to customize their party members.
It’s taken a while to cook in the oven, but Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is getting closer to its long-awaited release, and continues to look promising with each showing. At the recent Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, Square Enix showcased the upcoming turn-based RPG yet again, offering new glimpses of its gameplay.
Among other things, the remake’s new gameplay trailer showcases customization options that will let you change your companions’ vocations, various aspects of their appearance, voice, and more. Also revealed is the new Monster Wrangler vocation, something that the original Dragon Quest 3 did not include. Monster Wranglers are capable of using monster-like abilities to both, damage foes and heal their allies. Check out the trailer below for a glimpse of what the vocation will have in store.
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake is out on November 14 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It will be followed by Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D Remake in early 2025.
