Live on August 20th, 11 AM PST, the opening ceremony will feature titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Marvel Rivals, Civilization 7, and more.
This year’s Gamescom runs from August 21st to 25th and features several participating companies, from Xbox and Ubisoft to smaller studios like Radical Fish Games. It all begins with Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 20th at 11 AM PST, and while the ceremony is full of high-profile titles, host Geoff Keighley promises some new faces.
In a recent tweet outlining some of the big titles confirmed for the show, Keighley succinctly added, “Yes, there will be new game announcements.” It seemed a given, but it’s always nice to have confirmation. Perhaps more enticing is that the pre-show will return, with former GameTrailers and Easy Allies member Kyle Bosman hosting once more.
Thus far, the confirmed titles for Gamescom Opening Night Live include Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Marvel Rivals, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization 7, and more.
Tarsier Studios of Little Nightmares 1 and 2 fame will also reveal its next title, while Supermassive Games could finally take the wraps off The Dark Pictures Anthology: Directive 8020. Stay tuned for live coverage next week.
