Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment offer another extended look at their upcoming action title’s co-op and PvP multiplayer offerings.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 continues to look increasingly promising with each of its showings, and ahead of its looming September release, publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive have released another extended gameplay trailer, this time focusing on the action title’s multiplayer offerings.
Showcased first and foremost is Operations, Space Marine 2’s three-player co-op PvE mode, where players will have to work together to move through a variety of maps and tackle different objectives, from fighting Tyranid swarms and engaging in boss battles to detonating bombs and more.
Then there’s Eternal War, Space Marine 2’s PvP multiplayer mode, which also gets plenty of screentime in the extended gameplay showing, with a 4v4 Capture and Control match shown off. Across both Operations and Eternal War, players will be able to play as several different classes, specializing in different kinds of weapons (both melee and ranged), having access to unique abilities, and having plenty of customization options.
Check out the video below for more details and a healthy look at Space Marine 2’s brutal and visceral action. Full details on the game’s post-launch plans for Operations and Eternal War will be shared in the coming days, so stay tuned for that.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 launches on September 9 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
