Hexadriveās Silent Hill: The Short Message has crossed three million downloads since launching in January. Available free for PS5, its last major milestone was passing 2.5 million downloads this past May.
The Unreal Engine 5-developed first-person horror title focuses on Anita, who awakens in the rundown apartment complex. Maya, her best friend, informs her that she canāt leave until she finds āit.ā Throughout the journey, Anita remembers their relationship while avoiding a mysterious cherry blossom-covered monster.

As for the franchiseās future, Bloober Teamās Silent Hill 2, a remake of Konamiās 2001 classic, launches on October 8th for PS5 and PC. Check out the latest gameplay here. Other titles like No Codeās Silent Hill: Townfall and NeoBards Entertainmentās Silent Hill f are also in the works, though release windows have yet to be announced.
