PS5 System Software Update Lets You Invite Players to Sessions with URLs

Game Help also supports Voice Command, though the latter is only available for English-speaking players in the UK and US.

A new system software update is available for Sony’s PS5, adding new features. These include using URLs to invite others to gaming sessions, which will go live for all players on July 24th.

Though it only applies to open sessions, the process is simple. Open the Action Card for the session, choose Share Link, scan the QR code and share it with others. Of course, anyone with the link can join the session since it’s open, so beware.

As for other features, Game Help now supports Voice Command. It’s in the preview stage and only available for English US and UK PSN accounts. Nevertheless, the ability to say “Show Game Help” and bring up the relevant Action Cards is nice.

Update Version 24.05-09.60.00 also improves performance and stability (a classic) alongside messages. The DualSense device software also boasts improved stability. Check out the full patch notes below and stay tuned for details on future updates.
