Players can try out the hero shooter’s next Support character until July 21st. She joins the roster full-time on August 20th.
Juno is the latest Support hero for Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch 2 and has been causing a stir since her first gameplay trailer. While officially out in Season 12, players can play her early for a limited time, starting now and ending on July 21st.
As a resident of Mars, Juno has a Mediblaster, which fires bursts of healing for allies and damages enemies. A new tweet showcases damage fall-off from range, but she can still output significant healing. Her alternate fire, Pulsar Torpedoes, locks on to all heroes and unleashes tracking shots to heal your allies and damage enemies.
It’s noteworthy for bending around corners, meaning you don’t have to maintain line-of-sight after firing. Orbital Ray is her Ultimate, unleashing a forward-moving beam from space that boosts allied damage and healing. Of course, she also has Hyper Ring, providing a speed boost for her team (which stacks with Lucio’s Speed Amp-up).
As for Season 12, it starts on August 20th – stay tuned for more details on its theme, limited-time events and more.
