The open beta adds a new map, Bone Mines, and a new mode, Area Control. Players can also unlock a new Variant for Haymar.
After last week’s early access beta, Firewalk Studios’ Concord is now available in open beta for all players on PS5 and PC. Alongside the previous four maps and modes, it adds Bone Mines to Cargo Run and introduces Area Control. There’s also a new cinematic vignette, with Vale explaining to 1-Off how another crew can be friends and enemies.
The open beta is live until July 21st and features a new unlockable Variant for Haymar. The perk for this one increases the reload speed of her Flameshot Bow. Remember: If you use the base version and switch to the Variant, you can double up on her Warden passive. Of course, you need to get Teo’s Variant first.
Concord launches on August 23rd, with Firewalk promising many more weekly cinematic vignettes. There’s also the Galactic Guide for players to read up on the different planets and lore. Though there’s no post-launch roadmap, new characters, maps and modes will be added for free (with PvE also potentially in the works).
