Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred – New Spiritborn Gameplay and Origins Revealed

Harnessing the power of the Spirit Guardians, the new Spiritborn class can unleash all kinds of elemental attacks on enemies.

Mephisto returns to the world of Sanctuary in Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion. While players will rise to fight him, the long-dormant Spiritborn class also joins the fray. A new trailer is available, highlighting how the class came to be and what it can do. Check it out below.

From childhood, select members become Spiritborn, with only a few succeeding in answering the call. By calling upon Spirit Guardians, they can unleash all kinds of abilities. These include a powerful leaping attack followed by a fire area-of-effect, fiery claw swipes, flame dashes, icy boomerangs, an electric vortex, and spreading pestilence to foes.

Of course, players can also call upon a gorilla-esque Spirit Guardian and lay waste to foes with a giant physical attack. Stay tuned for more details on the Spiritborn and their kit.

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred launches on October 8th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
