A new rocket sidearm and pulse rifle, three new Battlegrounds and an encounter with the Conductor are on the cards for July 16th.
The next Act of Destiny 2’s first Episode, Echoes, launches tomorrow, July 16th. Bungie has released a new trailer, hyping the next set of story beats. Along with further skirmishes against the Vex, it teases an encounter with the mysterious Conductor.
Act 2 introduces three new Battlegrounds on Nessus, from the surface to the depths with radiolarian waterfalls. Players can unlock two new weapons – Aberrant Action, a Solar rocket sidearm that should provide a decent alternative to The Call, and Corrasion, an Arc pulse rifle. New Artifact Perks are also inbound, causing precision hits with Solar snipers to scorch targets and ignitions to deal more damage in a wider radius.
There will also be new balance adjustments and bug fixes when Act 2 drops, so stay tuned for the full patch notes. Destiny 2 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
