Shadow of the Erdtree sees the player venturing to the Realm of Shadow, pursuing Miquella the Kind. To what end is unknown, but the realm has been shrouded from The Lands Between since Marika became queen and formed the Golden Order. Messmer the Impaler rules, but plenty of other threats lurk throughout.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree offers many new weapons, items, Ashes of War, armor sets, and Talismans, and has received praise for its world design, bosses and art direction. There’s been backlash from some players regarding the difficulty, but a recent patch adjusted the first half of Scadutree Blessing levels, providing more damage output and resistance.
