Super Mario Party Jamboree Announced, Launches in October

The game will feature over 110 minigames across seven boards, of which five will be entirely new.

It’s safe to say that the majority of Nintendo’s big, system-selling series are now holding off with their next mainline instalments until the company’s next-gen console releases next year, but Mario Party, it turns out, isn’t going to do that.

At the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo unveiled Super Mario Party Jamboree, which is described as the biggest Mario Party game to date. The game will feature 20-player multiplayer in the Koopathlon mode, and, as you might imagine, some completely new boards and minigames to enjoy. There will, of course, also be returning boards to enjoy.

In total, the game will feature over 110 minigames and seven boards, of which five will be entirely new. Check out the game’s announcement trailer below for a glimpse of the new improvements and additions it’s set to bring.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is due out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch not long from now. It will release for the console on October 17.
