Croteam could be gearing up for an imminent reveal of new content for its acclaimed puzzle game.

The Talos Principle 2 may have slipped under the radar for many given how packed of a year it released in, but as those who’ve played it will tell you, it will still one of last year’s best new releases- and it seems it might soon be welcoming new content.

Developer Croteam is seemingly teasing some sort of an announcement related to The Talos Principle 2. Taking to Twitter, the studio recently tweeted out a screenshot from the game, along with tease that reads, “Summer is here, and there’s big news on the horizon.”

There isn’t, of course, any explicit confirmation that an expansion is what’s being teased here, but given the fact that Croteam also supported the first game with post-launch DLC, there’s a chance that the developer is looking to stick to that pattern with the sequel.

There’s no shortage of major events coming up in the next few days, with Summer Game Fest set for June 7 and The Talos Principle 2 publisher Devolver Digital’s own Devolver Direct following later in the day, so it’s entirely possible that an announcement for an expansion is made in the coming days.

The Talos Principle 2 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
