Assassin’s Creed Shadows Teases a “Most Wanted Request” from Players

Ubisoft Toronto is teasing a potential reveal for an eagerly awaited feature in the next Assassin’s Creed, which launches on November 15th.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows has caused quite a stir since its cinematic reveal, and though no gameplay has been showcased, its feature set is impressive. On top of two playable characters, Naoe and Yasuke, there are seasons (which affect the map), a greater emphasis on stealth, a customizable hideout and shinobi league, and much more.

However, Ubisoft Toronto seemingly has more in store. A recent tweet said, “We scratched off some of your most wanted requests, but we’re not done yet.” At the end of the image is a “???”, indicating one more player-requested feature that it would reveal soon. Perhaps it’s the return of multiplayer, either competitive or co-op.

The last title to have the former was Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, while Assassin’s Creed Unity offered co-op. With a standalone multiplayer title in development, co-op seems possible, but we’ll need to wait for more details.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is out November 15th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Its gameplay is rumored to be revealed at Ubisoft Forward on June 10th, followed by hands-on impressions on June 12th.
