The tactical FPS sandbox sees players venturing to a fictional island with a 42 km² land mass to investigate a “mysterious event.”
Amid the latest kerfuffle to hit Escape from Tarkov, Madfinger Games has announced that Gray Zone Warfare enters Steam Early Access on April 30th. Check out the announcement trailer below, highlighting positive impressions from various content creators.
Set in Lamang, a fictional Southeast Asian island placed under quarantine after a “mysterious event,” players control an operative for one of three PMCs sent in to investigate. Boasting tactical first-person shooter gameplay with realistic ballistics, highly customizable weapons, and a 42 km² land mass, players can engage with various characters to discover the truth. Furthermore, it features PvEvP and PvE modes.
Gray Zone Warfare will retail at $34.99 for the Standard Edition, with various supporter editions available at higher prices (head here for more details). Madfinger noted that its timeline for early access could span “several years” but said it would add new weapons, gear, and quests and expand on its world throughout. The full version is confirmed to increase in price, however.
